This year, Collège Unica/Musitechnic is strengthening its partnership with the Syli d'Ora flagship event Nuits d'Afrique Productionsdedicated to emerging world music artists. Our students will have the opportunity to participate in the audio production of concerts, honing their practical skills while contributing to a unique cultural exchange that enriches the local and international music scene.
A Partnership Rooted in Music and Education
This year, our students will benefit from hands-on experience during 16 evenings of Syli d'Or showcase concerts.. These unique opportunities will allow them to work on live sound, honing their technical skills and collaborating with industry professionals. By participating in these large-scale events, our students learn not only the technical aspects of audio engineering, but also how to handle the unexpected that can arise during a live concert. This experience prepares them for the challenges they will face in their future careers, giving them a perspective on how the music industry works.
Practical Support for Artists and Students
Our students will also have the opportunity to take part in a professional studio recording session, contributing to the musical production of one of the winners of the 18th edition of the Syli d'Or. This hands-on experience prepares them for a career in the industry, offering them total immersion in the world of sound, sound production and music event management. Working in the studio enables them to understand the nuances of sound recording, editing and mixing. These skills are essential for any sound technician wishing to stand out in today's fiercely competitive job market.

In previous editions of the Syli d'Or, our students have had the chance to work behind the scenes, assisting with sound engineering and production.
