Audio Postproduction | Sound Design and Editing

Dany Rodrigue

After graduating from Musitechnic in 2001, he began working at Audiozone, which merged with MELS, from 2002 to 2023. After starting as an assistant, sound recordist, assistant editor, editor, and designer, he now works independently. With over 20 years of experience in the field, he knows all aspects of this profession to successfully complete any type of sound post-production project, including TV series, documentaries, and web series.

With the essential collaboration of sound recordists, sound designers, dialogue editors, sound editors, and mixers, as a sound designer and editor, he ensures that the entire process evolves according to the director’s needs while proposing innovative ideas that are always in line with the project. The work of a sound designer requires good communication with various departments and a clear and creative vision to achieve and exceed the highest industry standards.

In 2022, Dany expanded the scope of his skills by teaching a post-production course at Collège Unica. His interest in teaching is his desire to share his knowledge and experience while hoping that his passion can inspire and motivate future graduates to find their place in this industry.
