Building on its vision and pioneering experience, Collège Unica offers programs that enable students to discover the various professions in the audio industry and prepare for a career in the field. In particular, we offer a wide range of internship opportunities, enabling students to put the various tools and techniques into practice in real time.
Although the main concepts remain the same, each field has its own characteristics that can make the experience different from one profession to another.

Once the performance has been recorded, it often needs to be edited to optimize the signal according to a number of factors (industry standards, artistic direction, context...). The following roles can be found in this area:
- Sound editor
- Dialogue editor for movies and video games

- Audio cleaning and restoration technician
Because of the co-dependence of the different operations, and because editing often has a creative role, depending on the project, it's common to find roles integrating several specificities.
This is why audio editing is often involved in Sound Design, Mixing, Post-production for Films or even Sound integration for video games and immersive experiences.

Once the various elements have been recorded and edited as required, it's time to combine them into a single audio file. This is the mixing stage.

Audio mastering is the final stage of an audio project before its release.
The aim of mastering is to ensure that the mix is optimized for the various media, and to check the quality of the project before release.
This is the stage where we can subtly adjust the audio content for optimum balance, add a little more color if necessary, and optimize delivery to all the multimedia systems and formats involved.
