For Musitechnic, the word “professor” refers to audio professionals who provide the various trainings.

  • Antoine Sicotte :
  • Both producer and composer, Antoine Sicotte has to its credit the composition and production of: Adrenaline – Emily Bégin‘s album, Ma Dualité – Jodie Rester’s album, Star Academy, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2003, Urban Legend - Emily Bégin‘s album, Picture Perfect – SKY’s album, Travelling Infinity – SKY’s album, production of the song “fille de ville” from Marie-Hélène Thibert , composition of “Il faut que tu t’en ailles”, album Stainless from Marie-Mai . Numerous awards have recognized the Antoine’s talent and a dozen awards have celebrated his talents, especially those of SOCAN , the ADISQ and JUNO .

  • Denis Cadieux :
  • For 25 years, Denis Cadieux worked as sound recorder, mixer, sound engineer and producer. He has worked with renowned international artists, such as Ginette Reno Jean-Pierre Ferland, Arianne Moffat, Diana Krall, DJ Champion, Isabelle Boulay … He also worked for the post-production on commercials, films and television series. He completed the dubbing in French films like Erin Brocovich, the mask of Zorro …

  • Eldad Tsabary :
  • As a composer, Eldad Tsabary creates electroacoustic and instrumental works which are inspired by sound and its metaphor representing intercultural topics.

    Eldad has repeatedly been the recipient of awards in numerous competitions in Canada and internationally. A few examples among many Miniaturas Electroacústica 2008 (Andalusia – Spain), Wireless CBS-Outfront/Deep Residency 2008 International Competition of Electroacoustic Music 2007 (Bourges – France), Madrid Abierto 2007 (Madrid – Spain) and ZKM’s Shortcuts: Beauty 2006 (Stuttgart – Germany), and Harbourfront Centre’s New Canadian Sound Work 2006.

    A musical creations of Eldad has been performed and recorded by the Bulgarian Philharmonic, Cygnus Ensemble, and trombonist Haim Avitsur at Carnegie Hall, ISCM World and CCRMA, reproduced by Elektramusic (Paris), Vibro (Paris), Capstone Records ( New York), Vox Novus (New York), ERMMedia (Norfolk), New Adventures in Sound Art (Toronto), and Jazz (Israel), and Published by Editions BIM (Switzerland).

    Eldad studied at Boston University, CUNY Graduate Center (New York), Mannes College of Music (New York), Rimon School of Jazz (Israel). He particularly studied the composition of David Loeb, David Olan, David Del Tredici, and Tim Brady.

    Today, he teaches courses in electroacoustic music and music technology at Concordia University in Montreal and of course in Musitechnic. Eldad is an active member of the Canadian Electroacoustic Community (CEC) and also artistic director of the Canadian 60X60 project .

  • Francisco Rendiles :
  • He has over 15 years of experience in various areas of the recording industry and music in North America and South America. Selected achievements : The Rolling Stones (2004) the third production of his band among the 40 best albums of Rock in Latin America. His songs have been selected for the national advertising campaign of Pepsi – Venezuela in 2005. And Francisco was the Pepsi artist embassador for more than five years. Four albums and contributions in more than 10 different music compilations and productions released in the United States, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela and Spain complement its porfollio.

  • Frédéric Thivierge :
  • Former member of “ RudeLuck “(with Luck Mervil), he now uses the name” NationalFred ” as an electronic music composer and mixer for compilations (The Future Sound of Montreal) and personal projects ( Breaking the timeline ) . Since the 90s, he perfected his techniques of “Mastering”, following the teachings of Bob Ludwig and Stefan Betke and now operates his own Mastering studio.

  • Gabriel Boucher :
  • Sound desing & audio post production specialist, Gabriel was able to create trusting relationships with various companies on a wide variety of projects. He works regularly in collaboration with advertising agency BOS for several customers including Fido, Yoplait and the Agency for energy efficiency.

  • Jean-Luc Paradis :
  • Sound and electronics technician as well as musician, he operates his own audio studio design company and recording studio.

  • Jonathan Doyon :
  • Composer and sound designer, Jonathan is on the lookout for new technologies and working to develop training programs. From the new generation of sound technicians, Jonathan Doyon is also very active on the emerging scene of Montreal AKA Eko.

  • After more than 15 year of expérience, he is a musician, sound recording technician (Studio Piccolo, Studio Frisson, Studio victor, FOH (Jazz Festival, many clubs shows) and sound mixer for TV. (Global, CTV). He also runs his own studio ” Sound Booth production “.

  • In addition to being technical and program director at Musitechnic, he has been composing electronic music for twenty years. His latest Alias: Nu-Trix mtl .

  • Pierre DeGagné :
  • He holds a BA in music and education at Concordia University with Honorable Mention. Peter DeGagné defines himself as an “explorer of new technology (programming, computer music, etc.)”. Teacher since 1992. He created in 1998, the project Dragon-Off (instrumental ethno-ambient-progressive music) and produced the first album: SOS Constellations 1999. From 2000 to 2005, Pierre returned to songs with lyrics under the pseudonym Pierre oxide. 2005, he produced the second album from Dragon-off: “Barong 2007″. 2009 Release of 3rd album.

  • Raynald Nadeau :
  • Drummer, sound technician, he operates his own recording studio “ Studio Raynald Nadeau “and is the Product Specialist for the Canadian distributor Music Marketing for the Quebec province (which represents several brands such as Propellerheads, IK Multimedia and Celemony).

  • He has been director  of various type : marketing, artistic, record producer, tour director, head of a performace company, founder of a FM radio station and today he is the Director of Audiobec .

  • Radio producer, in Montreal CKOI station, for the morning show lève toi et marche

  • Sonny Black :
  • He opened his first recording studio in 1998. He became very active on the Hip Hop Quebec scenec and collaborated with  DubmatiqueYvon Krever and Sans Passion.

    In 2002, he produced the debut album of Corneille “Parce qu’on vient de loin” that became a huge success across the francophone world. This was followed with other hits by K.maro , Shy’m and most recently,Marc Antoine , whose single “Tant besoin de toi” became one of the most played songs in 2008 on French soil.

    The year 2009 has been busy with the 2nd album of Marc-Antoine and the new artist Emmanuelle that Sonny signed with Mercury / Universal in summer 2008. Finally, the first single from the new project of the French R & B star Sheryfa Luna. ( K.maro , Cornelius, Marc Anthony)
