What the audio industry ?
Consumers knows about the traditional work of audio technicians in two places; the studio, through music album productions, and in live shows.
Few are fully aware of the sound technician working for radio, television, voice recording, creating sound tracks (ambience, effects), custom music, language adaptation, localization and this in for all the various professional fields such as music, entertainment, advertising, film, video games, theater, museums and of course the entertainment world.
Steven Spielberg has summarized the importance of audio when he said:
Audio is 50% of the entertainment experience.
